Group Blog

I’m starting a group blog.
I’ve been narrowing down some bloggers who I believe would be able to contribute greatly to this project. It’s not something I want to see continue indefinetly.

But I do want to try and put it together. At least try some dedicated blogging for at least six months. Maybe start by [...]

I Suffer From….Bruxism

Teeth grinding.
And it really is something serious. I have already chipped one molar from excessive teeth grinding while sleeping. I don’t know if bruxism is inherited because if it is/were then I def. got this from my paternal grandfather, my grandmother claims he grinds his teeth.
I’m going to purchase a night guard tonight, I hope [...]

Biased Reporting

I admire the Houston Chronicle for its outstanding journalistic qualities. It’s a publication that I could see myself working for one day in the near future. But even with all it’s awards and great reports, the Houston Chronicle does have it’s biased reporting from time to time. The article in question was not [...]

Shrek The Third

** out of five stars.
I was not impressed with this latest Sherk film. Frankly it fell flat on both a comical level as well as a “kid-friendly” type level. “Shrek the third,” was a terrible attempt to keep the Shrek series alive and well. I can recall maybe five (5) times I laughed throughout [...]

Shock Jock(ing)

Ever since the (un-necessary) firing of Don Imus a few weeks back, radio programs have started to can their hosts left and right for “offensive” remarks aganist the general public. Now my stance on “shock jocks” is that they are just what they are described to be. Radio hosts whose main job is to shock [...]

Yolanda King Died

The (eldest) daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and Coretta Scott King, passed away yesterday, Tuesday May 15 in California.
I remember Ms. King best from one of my old favorite shows “Any Day Now.” I’m so shocked that she passed away at the blessed age of 51. My prayers go out to her family [...]
