Serena beat Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia yesterday. Serena beat her, injured. 6-2, 6-7 (2-7), 6-2). Serena won with a cramp in her leg. A freaking “charley horse” that enabled her to even position her leg in the right position to move across the court swiftly. But she won. Fair and square. Hantuchova lost to Serena at her worse. Her worse is so damn good, Hantuchova can’t even begin to imagine how badly she would have lost had Serena been at her best.
I don’t care how many times Venus and Serena whoop these other players arses the commentators will never give them their due props. There is always, always always an excuse as to why their opponents are losing or playing so badly. And it sickens me that it all has to boil down to racism when speaking of the two.

Case in point, Serena had to use the women’s facility yesterday during a match, and she politely asked the ump is she could be excused to do such. After him questioning her like a convicted serial killer she just decided she’d rather hold it in than to go back and forth with him. Then during the match when Serena was really “spanking that arse” the ump wants to ask her, freaking calls her to the side and asks if she now wants to go to the restroom. Serena in so many words replied “I’m done with that, no I don’t want to go I want to keep the momentum up.”
I was so pissed off at the ump trying to stop Hantuchova from getting whooped so he could ask Serena if NOW she wanted to go potty. Because ole girl was getting beat, and Serena was “in the zone” he thought it necessary to ask at that point in town. So freaking blatant in my eyes. You didn’t let her go earlier why would she want to go now?
To try and give Hantuchova a chance? Let her rest, let her rest from the wrath of a great tennis player, the almighty Serena Williams.
Throughout every one of their matches the commentators continuously dog them and their tennis playing. I can’t help but think why they always “hating” on them.
Because they are BLACK and the BEST. That’s why. Bad combination, unless you play basketball, and then even there you can’t be too confident because lest you be considered cocky and arrogant.

Case? What case. She’s not allowed to go to the bathroom during a match unless it’s for less than 90 seconds and BEFORE HER SERVICE GAME, not DURING HER OPPONENTS. The rules are on the internet, if you can figure out how I suggest you look them up. Plain and simple, she asked to break the rules and was denied permission.

Why? Because that’s when she’s allowed to go. I’m really sorry you were “so pissed”, but the chair doesn’t care about Serena’s zone. She’s only in it 10% of the time anyway, so don’t get too angry.

Because the Williams sisters have fans like you posting crap like this, that’s why. When you post you’re not only making it more difficult for people to sympathize with her when she’s truly injured, or when she’s defending herself to the chair umpire over a point that in fact should have gone her way, but you’re making it impossible for the world to come to terms with the fact that there are now men playing in the women’s division of the WTA Tour.
The Williams sisters being hated on has nothing to do with me “posting crap like this”. Now that statement seems so far fetched but I’ll allow it. And your last comment is so unrelated to the topic that I won’t even acknowledge it.
But just to clear things up, your patronizing tone is interesting. This is my blog and my opinion and I can say whatever I so choose to say. In favor or in opposition to anyone, anything at any time.
And I would hope that you would come with a better argument than “you’re an idiot” to start off your comment. Though I admit it only made me want to read it more, and to post it so everyone could truly see who the true “idiot” is.

To try and diminish her game to just being in the zone “10%” of the time is to stoop so low because that’s all you can come up with?
If the other player had go to the restroom…well. Secondly…if the umps answer was “no” well then why argue with Serena. Don’t think she was out of line asking. She knows the rules better than you and I but she felt she could ask and she did.

you need to lay off the weed. you’re so obsessed that everything is about race you can’t see why alot of people dont like serena williams. she’s a prima donna (…i guess she’s just like the white man in that respect) and she’s a sore loser with absolutely no class. oh…and the clothes her and her sister ‘design’ look as though they were just pulled from a ghetto dumpster; i really hope people dont see her as a role model…kids are screwed up enough these days without trying to emulate petulant, self serving brats. oh…and just ’cause this is ur blog doesn’t mean your immune to being called any idiot. you did it make it quite easy.
Typical Williams post match lack of class comments. It’s always she didn’t bring her A game or she let her oponent win (etc.).. “It’s not something they did it’s something I gave away….”
The Williams are running on empty here in the states too.
